Introduction: Abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB) refers to uterine bleeding that is excessive or occurs outside of normal cyclic menstruation. The most common cause of AUB in adolescents is anovulatory cycles due to immature hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis.
